So we were gonna go outside and play football for an hour, and the guy next to me never goes. This is how I imagine him playing football. It had me cracking up as I was drawing it, and I'm still laughing. I would love to do a 10-20 looping animation with this. Maybe....
So for the last two days, every time I've looked for the guy who's in the cubicle next to me he hasn't been there. Every time I think "Where the hell is he". It reminded me of Carmen San Diego, so I made this. He still has yet to see it, since he's not there....
So I've had this idea for months now. I finally got it to a point that I can post it. I'm not quite sure I'm done with it, but I like how it looks currently. I might want to go back in and make the entire atmosphere much darker with the only bright spot the sign. I also haven't shaded all the bricks and I need to finish some spots. But I really wanted to change that other header. So I'll update this one when I fix it.
To give you a little background, in this scene the character jumps onto the sidewalk at the beach and begins to slip on sand, he recovers. His stomach begins to grumble and he looks around for food. He realized he sees something delicious at the end.
It might be hard to read since it is so light. But I'm also going to add FX to the slipping part to help sell it. I'm happy with how it turned out since this was the 5 or 6 time I re-did it. In case you wanted to know, the body is on 3's, the legs on 2's, and the arms on 1's for the first part. I like how his arms spin really crazy at the end and he is flung forward a bit then has to counter balance from that.
